The clutch in my 03 A4 starting slipping awhile back so I got a new clutch fitted yesterday. Picked it up from the garage yesterday evening and within 5 mins it started slipping again. New pressure plate bearings the works. Mechanic couldn't understand it. Bringing it back this evening to be ripped again. Any ideas or anyone experience this before.

I suppose the mech diagnosed the problem correctly and installed the new clutch correctly - but it does sound like the clutch was not installed correctly.
For instance there can be contaminants/oil/grease on the friction plates, or a host of other things missed.

He reckons there a diesel seal near the gearbox that might be leaking. I don't know though

Tbh, we can guess but really only the mechanic can help here.

Was there a new flywheel fitted or did they skim the old one by any chance.

New gasket fitted. Seems to have done the trick fingers crossed. I think whatever leaked in was burned off and was gonna seep in again if the gasket wasn't replaced
