Owed money to Revenue

And I paid it in full almost three months ago.

Apparently at the time a letter was sent to house i no longer live in and family member returned it as “not living here” instead of passing it on to me.

Recently got served a summons to same house as above where I have not lived for years but is probably still the address Revenue have for me, the original date on summons (almost 3 months ago) was two days after I posted Bank Draft.

I actually have documentary evidence of the letter I sent to Revenue as well as the Bank Draft (photos and video), is it possible there’s a mix up and Revenue official forgot to contact solicitors?

As the evidence is clear that I got a bank draft, paid for it and made out to Revenue for the correct amount, is there any way I can sort this without having to go to court to fight it? Will Revenue concede it if I show them my evidence or is doing that weakening my hand for any court appearance?

Pick up the phone had have your tax number to hand, call the number and work your way through to a human.
You appear to accept the amout is owed and your are prepared to pay it.
    Explain your situation,
confirm that you are speaking got the correct section
have a conversation as to the status of the bank draft, has it arrived and been lodged, what to do if it has not arrived.
Confirm the current status of the outstanding amount ie fully paid or not etc
Confirm any steps you would have to take to resolve any outstanding items eg how to update your address.

Thanks for your very sensible advice.

Money was received but not allocated properly so all now in the process of being sorted.

Well annoyed that I got a summons served on me incorrectly but probably not too much I can do about that.

    Thanks again.
