Caulk spots on laminate floor - how to clean off?

    Hello,

The floor fitters left tons of caulk spots / marks on our new laminate floor.
I have to use my fingernails for a half minute on each small spot to scrub it off, then I need to vacuum the remainder. It'd take ages to get it all off.

Is there an easier way? (laminate is extremely sensitive to water...)

    Thank you.

Laminate should be pretty much waterproof (on the top that is, once it gets underneath it's a different story).

Easiest way I've found in the past is with a heatgun or blow dryer, get it all nice and hot and gooey and then wipe it up with a cloth damp with some white spirits or something

Very interesting idea with the blow dryer.
Any idea how to wipe it off without using smelly chemicals? That I wouldn't want to do.

I guess if you get it gooey enough you should be able to wipe it off without.

Or just use babywipes? (they're magic so they are)

Another good idea! I'll try baby wipes.

Dont put white spirits on that floor. It will blanche it. Get these https://www.everbuild.co.uk/product/multi-use-wonder-wipes/, and a little elbow grease.
