What should we do in relation to 'sealing' our external insulation when extending our property?
We will be knocking down part of the wall to extend and this will leave the external insulation open.

Can you continue the external insulation onto the new extension?

    Hi
It should be possible if that's the best / easiest solution?
    Thanks

Your query is how to stop the insulation getting wet while the building work is going on or how to finish it against the new wall?

    Relatively straight forward.
Just need a competent contractor that is familiar with EWI and will protect where he has to break into the existing envelope.

Just get an insulation company out afterwards to finish it off. Very easily done,
