    Can a window motor be repaired. It has stopped working

    Usually it's better and easier to buy a replacement and fit it.

    You need to be able to determine if it is possible to repair the motor, or if the problem is the motor itself or something else.
    If you cannot do this then you need a local mechanic to determine that for you.

    Just ring a breakers, ul get one for €40 or €50, no new to get anyone to determine anything, more than likely the motor is burnt out

    If they fit try and get a motor from the passenger doors rather than the drivers door. Generally passenger windows will be used less so less likely to fail when bought 2nd hand.

    A mech can make sure circuits are not broken.
    Check the windows switch.
    Pull off door card and check connections haven't come away.

    I now have the car in for a look. Window regulator wire loom needs replacing and the regulator is bent and needs replacing
