Opel Insignia gear change

Recently I bought a 131 Insignia from a dealer with high Mileage, the release bearing was rattling a bit and brought it back up to them as soon as I could.
They replaced the clutch and DMF and since then it feels different going into 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Sometimes it's very hard to get it into first as if i'm not pressing the clutch at all, going 2nd to first sometimes works or 3rd to 1st. It's not constant though and I brought the car back up to them for an opinion and at the time it seamed to change gears as normal, the service manager brought the car for a drive and said if it gets worse or causes problems to bring it back.

    Any ideas or possible causes?
    Thanks.

Does the gear stick moves when you put it in 1st and gently release clutch?

Just tried, no movement whatsoever in the gear stick.

Sounds to me like the clutch is dragging. Rough guess presuming everything gear linking side is ok. I would imagine the clutch assembly isn’t lined up properly. If this is the case it will be gearbox back out and reposition clutch disc

4th, 5th and 6th are all fine, it's just the first 3 gears. 3rd feels kind of like it falls into gear if that makes sense.

If that’s what ur feeling I would be checking the gear linkage cables etc on top of the box to make sure routed properly and not getting cought on anything or make sure one of the links hasn’t popped off if it’s falling into gear tho should be easy to find and sort in fairness.

The real question i would be asking tho is how a garage deemed it ok to return a vechile like that.
And if it only happened a while after wards return it to them but if it only came into it like afew days then something has just worked lose or popped out

Yep, it is relatively common on the M32 gearboxes to get a bit flaky on the linkage.

If the gearbox went on the clutch disc can't be misaligned. Seriously what kind of garage do you work in?

I just adjusted the linkages twice and it's still pretty much the same after a quick drive, the little notchy bit is gone from 3rd and 2nd but first still 'sticks'.
