1080p 144hz monitor 24”-27”

As above. Looking for recommendations for a new monitor. Upgraded you to gtx1070 and the old LG 24” 1080 60hz ain’t cutting it anymore. Don’t want to go 4K as I don’t believe the 1070 will be able to make full use of it for gaming. Mostly play FPS, pubg r6s etc.

Anyone recommend a good monitor under the €300 mark?

Thos one by LG is one of the best "cheap" 144hz 1080p monitors going.

By Viewsonic, is better than the LG I'm terms of image quality. Both are said to be better than the more popular ones by Acer, Asus and BenQ

Shameless plug, but I have a 24" 1080p 144hz monitor for sale on adverts ghats perfect for fps gaming. I play csgo and it's a perfect fps gaming monitor. I got it after reading recommendations on this forum.

You have a 1070, why not go for 2560x1440/144hz? That's still the sweet spot for gaming atm with a decent card. It ain't cheap though but it's definitely worth it. I'd even go for G-sync. It's also worth the extra cost.

An Asus mg278q. 1440p 144hz 1ms response. Its very nice i have to say. took a day or 2 to get used of the extra size going from 24" to 27".

Ya, I wouldn't recommend a 1080p 27 inch screen these days anyway.

100%. I tried it and immediately went back to my 24inch monitor until I could get a 1440p 27inch

I went 24 1080p 144hz, to 27 4k 60hz, found it to complete rubbish, went to 27 1080p 144hz, found the pixels stretched and had to supersample everything. Ended up on 27 1440p 144hz in the end, its great.
