Need a new GP private patient but theres no room at the inn!

    Ok. I badly need to change GP and have been trying to get into a reliable gp practice for about 3 years but each time I ring they say ring back in a few months we are not taking new patients. We only have two practices locally. Tried next area same story. I can't get past receptionist.

    I'm ill and seeing five specialists for different long term problems ay the moment with a poor quality if life still holding down my job just about.

    Things are rapidly getting very bad and my GP practice is worse than useless
    No follow up lost letters lost bloods medication mix up and you wait for about 10 days to see a doc who is not the same as last one and prescribes something clashing with what one of the consultants. There is no joined up thinking I now take approx 25 tablets a day in 45 year's old it's crazy.

    I'm in a lot of pain and need help now. Is there anyone or anywhere I can go to push this for me. I'm single so no additional family will be private patient with very good insurance. Anyone found this problem in North County Dublin? If be so grateful for any advice.
