Hi all, I received a letter this morning telling me I am scheduled to attend an individual activation meeting in my local intreo office to assess my personal progress in my search for employment.
has any one attended one of these meetings, and what can I expect when I attend?

    cheers.

    Hi there,

The individual activation meeting is nothing to worry about.

Basically it's just a one - to - one sit-down meeting with your case officer in social welfare.

There they will find out from you what kind of work you hope to get, get details of your last employment (if applicable to you), and put together your 'Personal Progression Plan' about steps you plan to take in getting employment. Should take no more than 20 minutes.

Hi and thanks for your info.
I'm not long finished my year on the seetec course so i'm quite used to "case workers" and personal progression plans.

    cheers.

OP they can send you on JobPath again if four months have passed since you completed it. If less than that time they may refer you to LES or encourage/push various other schemes. I would suggest that you take a look at any C.E Scheme that might interest you prior to your meeting. Intreo should be able to increase your chances of getting this placement.
