Harvey Norman staff sale

    Has anyone gone to the Harvey Norman staff sale??
    Now i know it's an invite to "loyal customers"
    But realistically is it just a gimmick and everyone is welcome...
    Also has anyone gone and got a really good deal..??
    Maybe add here what you got with its original price or the discount you got..

    Went to one before, now it was a good few years ago but didn’t have any amazing bargains. Their stuff seems to be marked down all the time and from memory the discounts werent any bigger than you’d see in any other sales they have.

    Going to one this evening, we'll see its probably a marketing thing, when you see "Up to" or "Save up to" its probably not a good sign, maybe the do look after their staff. 
    Looking at getting a Dyson Vacuum Cleaner and a Dyson Air Purifier, we will see. I've priced both in from the UK and each is about €70-€90 cheaper based on their prices on the website. 
    Will let you know if any different.

    Went to Nutgrove last night and got a table I'd been keeping an eye on for e70 less than it's been listed in months.

    Lots of discounts greatly exaggerated but I saw plenty of items the cheapest they've been listed in months in terms of making small savings.
