I see Renua Ireland has called for an Alliance of Pro Life Candidates to fight on an agreed platform at the next General Election. Over 1600 signatures to date have signed their petition. Any views on how successful this might be?https://www.gopetition.com/petitions/ireland-forward-together.html
Sounds like a good idea, it provides a one stop shop for people I will never vote for.

They were created over an issue with abortion legislation, pretended they weren't a pro-life party and now they think their problem was not going all in on the pro-life bit. Good luck with that, I look forward to their style of ideas that fall apart after spending any time thinking about them.

Oh pi$$ off. Seriously? The country has spoken, move on! Don't like it, move!! That's how democracy works! I respect everyone's right to vote whatever way they did at the referendum, but this sh1t pi$$es me off to no end. I never had respect for the public campaigning No side because of similar carry on before the referendum, and now they come out with this? Someone ought to remind them what a democracy is!

Back in the 1983 referendum when the 8th was voted in- Labour & the workers party would of being the two main parties who called for & backed a no vote . Following the no vote losing in 1983 I don,t think anyone on the pro 8th side said Labour & the workers party should pi$$ off. If Renua want to contest future elections on a pro life platform they free to do so just as the electorate are free to opt whether they wanna vote for them or vote for someone else.

The legislation is a done deal. But they still have a right to lobby government just like anyone else does. Doesn't matter if it's a waste of time. They are the last of a dieing breed and are best ignored.
