Holiday in Ireland with Toddler

    Hi,

Anyone got any good recommendations for a week long holiday in Ireland with a toddler (18mths)?

We have only been looking at apartments as hotels seem a waste of a holiday (don't fancy having to stay in hotel room in quietness to mind toddler).

We looked at Kerry (Killarney mainly) but self catering apartments are expensive - Gleneagle have them at over €200 per night! Somewhere like that is ideal though with parks and hotel swimming pool.

    Any experiences/recommendations are much appreciated!

    Thanks!

We stayed recently in Youghal (quality hotel).
Its right beside the beach and they have apartments too so were perfect for our 2 with plenty of room.
They also have a swimming pool with activities for kids.
We're actually going back there again in a few weeks.
