Mk V Golf driver's door controls

All of the switches in my drivers door, apart from the fuel cap release (thank christ) have stopped working.

The door will still lock and unlock with the remote, and the window will go up and down with the remote.

I had a look in the wiring harness and there doesn't seem to be any broken wires inside there.

It had been finnicky for a while, in that I'd go to put the window down and it would put it up instead, then completely gave up the ghost when I used the key to put the windows down. It started working then for a small while when I lightly slapped the panel with the window switches, but hasn't worked again since.

Anybody come across this before? Where would be the best place to start?

Not sure about that particular model, but lots of golfs end up with broken wires where they flex at the door hinge.

    Not in this case.

In actual fact it will be ur window switch pack for the drivers door. Very common on the golfs and not to expensive to fix. Just ring vw with the Rev order the switch pack remove the door card fit the switch pack check it works then reassemble the door card. Job oxo and ur on ur way
