Just wondering what the situation is if you're currently taking part in Jobpath with seetec or turas nua and you get a letter from Tus calling you to an interview to participate with them.

Can you tell Tus that you're not going to change over to them or do you now have to participate on both? Thanks

You're stuck with Jobpath. Can't do both

The rules have changed from the 1st June 2018. Yes you can participate in TUS and CE while on Jobpath. You must do both though. Although if you get on a scheme and refuse to engage with Jobpath you cannot be penalty rated.

You shouldn't have been randomly selected for TUS if you are on Jobpath, if you were then its a DESP error

They often make errors. I was refered to an LES scheme while on Jobpath. Turned up. Slyly got me to fill in a form (Which I knew was an application form which they denied). They were obviously loosing loads of 'customers' to Jobpath so attempting to garner a few more heads to keep their jobs. Didn't hear from them again as soon as they discovered THEIR error.

As previous poster says you can now apply to the highlighted schemes with the DEASP. Didn't realise TUS was allowed though. They cannot actively recruit you though as he says. You must apply. Don't tell Jobpath until you source something as they will do anything to grab a commission instead. You will still be required to make up at least 30 hours a week though so no getting rid just yet.
