This is the picture of my front tyres:

I am not sure if they are run flats or just tubeless?

    Model :
    Kumho Ecsta HS51
225/50 ZR17 98W XL with rim protection ridge (FSL)

These are on front 2 tyres, dealer said rear tyres got 3.5mm tread left so I can wait 4 months (due now) and change them in summer.
Do I get same brand for rear tyres? Because at present I have got Kumho on front 2 tyres and Michellin primacy tyres on rear ends.

    Thanks

You'll be fine with different tyres front and rear.

The Kumos you have on at the moment seem to have good reviews

    Ok cool.
Only issue with Kumho is their Rolling Resistance is E and wet grip C.

We see the kumho tyres fitted to a lot of bmws and mercs lately and any of the cars we have in for work to be done on them when we send the car for tyres we always recommend the kumho tyres. I’ve them actually fitted to my own bm and think there a great Tyre for the money aswell wouldn’t put another brand on it.

Not a good idea to have run flats and normal Tyres mixed. Car is more susceptible to body roll at high speed.
Runflats are a lot firmer and also technically you’re invalidatIng your insurance by changing the tires from runflat to non-run flat.
You’re supposed to notify your insurance company if you change to a non standard part and changing from rft to non-rft qualifies.
Bottom line is you’re probably fine as long as you’re not speeding and don’t have a crash.
If you do you’re basically ****ed.

My bad! I didnt see the ecsta designation. I think that they may be tubeless runflats..

It was my car dealer who replaced Michellin Runflat to Kumho radial tubeless tyres. I don't think kumho is run flats, they are only tubeless.
So my best bet is to get kumho same 4 tyres? Car doesn't have extra tyre in the boot, got only electric inflator pump in the boot.

So do you actually have run flats on the back?

There was a poster here during the week saying he was offered Continentals in that size for €100 (also a c class)

    Update :
After inspecting rear tyres again, I notice ZP (indicating run flat in michelin) is missing. So basically it's only tubeless radial.

OK I will ask the person on other thread.

But even if it's 100 per continental tyre, I would not get all new 4s as I just paid 240 for front Kumho's at dealer (I know they charged me more)
