Ford focus roof rack

    Hi
    I have a 07 focus hatchback and am looking for a roof rack, is there a specific size I need or what do I look for?
    How much should I get a second hand set for?

    The size is one thing, but they’ll be a specific fitting to attach it to your car, and every model of car is different.

    Anywhere that sells roof-racks (shops or online) will have a book or tool for you to look up your make, model and year to see what you need. Brands like Thule and the Halfords ones are modular- you pick out the bars, feet and fixing kit seperatley. There’s usually a choice of bars, from cheaper steel square block ones too premium aerodynamic aluminium ones.

    If you’re looking to buy second hand, or on eBay or Amazon, just search for roof racks for your make model and year. Be careful if you have a panoramic roof (not just a usual sun roof), as you often need a specific fixing kit that’s different to the regular roof one.
