I was wondering if there was any way to insure against a non-paying tenant. I came across a website called rentassured.ie. Just wondering if anyone has ever used them.

Apparently it does exist, pretty high premiums as one would expect. A low(ish) amount of rent guaranteed and some pretty strict vetting guidelines that possibly fall foul of certain equality legislation.

The issue isn't really the rent that you don't get but the thoausands in damage they do to the property which you can't insure against.
