So, Looking on eBay for lets say a CCTV system,
I arrange by price and start looking..

Find one, looks good, Title says 3tb 4 camera 4mp ect, Price is €350.
Go into the add, Theres a drop down,
Q1: how many cameras, Answer: 4
    Q2: Memory size, Answer: 3TB

    New price €700

I have to open so many adds to find what I want and check theres no drop down.....

Closes eBay and just uses amazon.
    Highly pi$$ed off

Typical trick sellers use to have their listings appearing on the top of search results if sorted by price low-high. Even though I'm not happy to see it, that's reality. Just be patient, click, check, go next ad,or shop elsewhere (as you did). :)

This is a really annoying new thing alright. I was looking for a cheap laptop for someone recently and similarly found some great deals.

But then all of the 'optional' dd one you can't proceed without being the price right up.

Tbh I think eBay's strength is still one off or harder to find/second hand items. See it like a car boot sale.

New/mass available items you're better off with Amazon.

I would rarely buy new from ebay - no warranty

The worst of it is selling an obvious cheapo item in the dropdown box that is tenuously connected to the main item just so the listing appears high up in the low-> high filter
