I’m considering going away to do a one week bootcamp as I want to lose a few pounds and would love to just go away on my own for a week.. I have two young children so the guilt is kinda holding me back, just curious has anyone done one before and is it worth it or can you recommend any good ones?

Why not go away and enjoy a well earned break / relaxation for the week and then maybe when you come back recharged try and factor in some regular exercise either at times you can have the kids minded or involve them (age dependent etc)

I did one in Bali. Really enjoyed it and The price was reasonable. It was CrossFit based. The food wasn’t great but it’s fairly cheap there anyway. My cousin has done one in Portugal which sounds really good with Algarve fitness. It seems to be a real mix of exercise, with plenty of hikes and beach training as well. It was more expensive though.
