Someone sharing photos of my son online - What to do?

Not sure if this is the right place but here's the story.

Someone has shared photos of my son from my social media on their page. They are in a different country, not connected to me and I'm pretty sure its a fake profile. They are putting up photos saying "my first child" etc.

I know that when something is shared on social media people can see it so I don't need peoples opinions on sharing photos / my parenting. I dont want someone else using my photos for whatever "gain" they feel they're getting however

    What can I do?

You can report it on the whatever social media platform it is.

Secondly, get your son to change their profile settings to private.

I did report it. It's from my profile which is now private, thought it always was. He is 2 yrs of age

It's the OP's photos of her son that have been shared. She would be better if she changed her privacy settings . I'm guessing her son is too young to be on FB.(also doubt if she has asked the child is it ok to share his photos)

Photos of your son shouldn't be visible to strangers. Change your privacy settings ASAP.

If it's Facebook they will remove the photos if you want report it. If the other person has these photos saved to the hard drive then they can upload them again to a different account
