Have you looked at Now TV - sky's alternative service?

Get a now tv box. Why are you tied to the PS3? Fairly sure you can pick one up with a sky sports pass.

It costs 30 quid for the box and month pass...

To be honest, for the quality of streaming and cost effective access to subscription content you won't find much better value than now TV. I've had all manner of Android boxes. Wouldn't bother again but this isn't the thread for that.

Now TV box is your only hope really.

Is the NowTV Smart box available in Ireland (has a terrestrial tuner which, in addition, should receive Saorview via an aerial) ?

It's a streaming box. It's available here. It has neither a sat nor a terrestrial tuner.

The NOW TV Smart Box gives you the best of NOW TV as well as awesome Freeview channels, turning your TV into a smart TV. Simply plug the Smart Box to your compatible TV and connect it to your wifi and aerial to get a world of entertainment on your big screen

Launched in the UK in July 16. Haven't seen it for sale here, would probably tune in Saorview channels in random order and the UK units don't work here from what I have read.
