Public Service Card Appointment Time?

    Hi,
    Just wondering how long the appointment takes for the public service card? Have an appointment to get one tomorrow at 14:15 and another appointment at 14:30 so wondering if I'll be cutting it too tight.

    I got mine last year and i think it was only about ten mins, they take your photo and fill in a form

    sorry, i just meant general details. think it was just the usual, name, address ect, unless the process has changed in the last year

    They may also offer to pair your mobile phone, which enables you to access more on the "MyGov" website.

    It's a useful facility to have if you like handling your personal / governemnt stuff online.

    Where is the second appointment?

    I worked on these cards before moving department.

    They say it takes about 15-20 minutes which is accurate enough.

    I have done them in 8 minutes but that is with super organised customers who walk in and say here's my PPSN, utility bill, passport & birth cert. No messing about.

    Don't forget the the customer in front of you could be a nightmare that takes 30-40 minutes!! It's happened to me on a number of occasions.
