I think you should go to a couple of classes and stick to water and see what happens
    What's your other activity like

Yeah the drinks aren't going to be an issue. As mentioned stick to water at the start and adjust as you need to.

Whats the goal of the going to the class? fitness/weightloss/both?

If it’s your first class tell instructor and take it easy for first couple of classes , water is all your going to need and a towel. Your bum will probably be the worst hit..a good stretch after class will prevent you getting to sore.
You could take an electrolyte to replace those you lose from sweat..use the soluble ones from chemist rather than a higher sugar drink from a shop..
The gym might have have them available.
    Stretch and stretch again ...

Your muscles are going to be sore whether you drink water or liquid gold. Keep at it and they'll hurt less over time

Water. There is no drink that will stop your muscles being sore.

Water, water, water, water, water, water, water.

Seriously. It's going to be sore. You are going to be out of breath during the class and no drink will overcome that.

Your muscles will be sore that night and in the days after it.

Others have said the same thing, I'm repeating it because it is important.

Also. Keep doing it. When you cross over to looking forward to the class, enjoying it and liking the fact that your muscles hurt because you know you are making progress it will be worth it.
