why is dole looking for parents bank statement

    last week the welfare sent out a letter asking for my dad's payslip and bank statement i don't understand why , when i first signed on last summer he was getting double the amount he is now and his bank account balance is well under 20,000 so why exactly are they looking for a bank statement is this a regular occurence do they do this every few months or what's the reason

    As per your other threads on this, SW can review your claim at any time, it’s their prerogative and they do it a lot. You’ve nothing to worry about as you’ve said elsewhere that your dad has less then 20000.
