    Hi all,

Just looking for recommendations for a vet for a dog with possible arthritis. I've only heard the information second hand but I wasn't impressed with the vet. She has stiffness in one of her front paws. The vet said it was probably arthritis and an old break or fracture. No x ray done. A splint was put on for a few days. With regard to the arthritis we were told there wasn't much to be done. Dog is young, 5 and a half mixed breed.

I heard westside on the model farm road is meant to be good?

I had the same with my boy 'It's just arthritis'... turned out he has a weakened/prone to injury muscle! I've been to Gilabbey for ortho stuff and found them great. They have hydro and other therapies. Take a look at Canine Arthritis Foundation on FB too.
