Today I counted the ballots in the referendum and will earn €270 for the day. I done this two years ago and said nothing. I was taxed but DA never got on to me. I am saying nothing this time either. Could they say I have an overpayment of €75 euro as I'm on full rate DA?

The amount you earn is very low. Indeed very very low. They would not hang you for it.
I am more concerned about the fact that you worked without telling them in advance. They might call you for a medical assessment and throw you of the sheme.
I would ask them next time in advance. I am very certain that you will get their approval without any problems.

    1 - I am not on a scheme.

2 - They don't mind if you don't tell them in advance regarding this situation as it was a ONCE OFF for ONE DAY out of the year. And they absolutely will not ask me to undergo a medical assessment because I had the audacity to undertake 5 hours work 🙄

    Oh for goodness sake

That wasn't a judgement. It was a comment on your question within this forum. You're asking about something that technically involves misleading the state and that kind of thing isn't usually permitted in this forum.

I'm pretty sure it's against boards.ie rules to give advice regarding tax evasion or benefit fraud.

OP I'm delighted you got a days work out of this. I'm sure you are delighted with the extra few bob

    Have you had an overpayment?
At any stage of the DA process did you agree to disclose the information?
Are you required to inform the department of the time spent working or the payment?
