grass clumps

    Whats the best way to remove big grass roots, not sure what the proper name for it is,

    Ive strimmed and cut down a lot of high grass on bout 1/2 and acre and there are lot of these clumps left. There's a lot there, seems to be a lot of soil lumps around them too, (not great when the mower hits them :( )

    If there's too many to dig out you can spray them with weedkiller when they regrow, then level and reseed when they die off.

    If you feed it and then keep it mowed regularly, the shorter grasses will put pressure on the longer grasses and those will recede over time. Any bald spots will need scarifying and reseeding.
