I didn’t do it in autumn / winter and now have some small branches with lots of small pears and possible broken branches to follow. These small branches won’t be able to hold the pears / apples

So it’s pruning now an option ?

I can always remove some small pears and apples as a plan B. They are small teee heights

    Thanks

you should thin out the fruit anyway. unless you go absolutely nuts thinning out, you'll still get a similar weight of fruit, fewer but bigger ones. which will probably be nicer anyway.
