Hi ,

Looking for advise.

We're doing a self build refurb of an older house. Have had engineers report done, and the draw down cert for the bank completed. Property has been purchased.

The engineer who completed the draw downs for the mortgage appears to have disappeared off the face of the planet. We need an engineer to sign off at the various stages.

Can a new engineer be retained at this stage or will the mortgage provider be frowning at this change in personnel !

Any advise welcome, thanks in advance .
