    Good evening,

Today advised by solicitor on my grounds i am available to apply for nullity of my existant marriage. ( non discussion of grounds )

We have lived separated since May 2016 . I am wondering how long this process would take roughly? It's very emotionally draining.

Was advised to write letter what had happened prior marriage at time of marriage took place and after. So they hace my account of the events.
Other side is happy to proceed there is no amicable way of sorting it and neither of us want to either.
    Thanks.

It depends on how efficient the solicitors are and where in the country you are.

If you have a solicitor, you should refer your question to him/her. Drop an email.

Nullity occurs so rarely these since the advent of divorce (13 & 14 were granted in the years 2016 & 2015 respectively) that it's a niche area even for dedicated family law practitioners.

It's best to make sure that your chosen representation has practical experience of the process.

OP wouldn't appear to meet the requisite separation period for divorce.

if OP knew about issues prior to the marriage she shouldn't have entered it, this will stand against her for an annulment

Actually, that depends on the issue.

But the OP has already received professional legal advice about whether they are entitled to an annulment, and specifically says that they don't want to discuss that here.
