Can I replace the battery myself on one of the wireless window sensors, without getting an engineer out to do it?
    Astec 63DV

Sorry looked for ine of the sensors, couldnt find one. The panel battery would more than lighty be you problem, 61 engineer. Battery 12v / 2.1 to 2.3 ah battery needed. Take off both covers is you feel you can do yourself kill 230v to alarm first. Top left of pcb take off the lug to screws holds board in place. Lift board away dont un wire and chance battery. Then do everything in reverse order. Power up 230v plus replace lug for battery and enter your code should disarm system. Orignal Eng code poss be till in panel 1174.

You can . Do with out eng code because the wireless are all done through the ITI quickbridge. The quickbridge is only wired into zones in the panel. Done do anything with the quickbridge because you will can loose all the wireless and it will than need reprogamming.
