Lenovo v Dell v Asus

Hi folks.....I kind of posted about this before but just to update, I eventually went for an asus 2 in 1 for my wife as a daily beater laptop for bringing in and out of work as a teacher. Worked out about 500 euro including delivery from amazon.com (I currently in the middle east so no tax issues!). Has a 7th gen i5, full HD screen and 6GB of ram so seems to be the right job for the price.....

Which brings me on to my own situation. As I mentioned, I intend replacing the household laptop for something neater. I like the idea of a 2 in 1 also and have narrowed down to a few well priced options on amazon.com which seems to be the best value at the moment when customs issues are non existent. So at the moment I've narrowed down to the following with their rough prices:

    1. Lenovo yoga 720 - 8th gen i5, 8GB ram, 256GB SSD, 13.3" - about $705
    2. Dell inspiron 13 5000 - 8th gen i7, 8GB ram, 256GB SSD - about $710
    3. Dell inspiron 13 7000 - 8th gen i5, 8GB ram, 256GB SSD - about $850
    4. Asus zenbook flip 13" - 8th gen i5, 8GB ram, 256GB SSD - about $880

I've done a bit of research and from what i can tell the lenovo 720 would be more of a rival to the dell 7000 in terms of size and weight but is a lot cheaper for the same spec. Similarly the asus is similar in size and weight to the Lenovo but again, a lot more expensive. The zenbook seems to be well regarded as a non-2 in 1 which has me interested but is it worth the premium based on its rep as a non-2 in 1? The dell 5000 is interesting as it has the faster i7 for the same money but you take a hit on size and weight so not sure. Also the Lenovo supports windows ink but i'm not sure about the dell 5000 and i think for a 2 in 1, you'd want that. I think the kids would get a kick out of it.

Everything points towards the Lenovo as an all rounder and best value but i'd appreciate some opinions. What concerns me are things like reliability as i'm not sure how i'd be covered in the event that i get a dud after buying on line. I've read that dell are not great but that people have had warranties transferred to Europe when bought in the US. Maybe Lenovo can transfer warranties to Ireland?

For the record, the intended use is the usual, internet, office, Netflix, etc. Nothing really that demands a super fast processor like gaming but don't want a sluggish machine either. Budget is not a big deal but don't think i can justify the higher end ultrabooks like Dell XPS or HP Spectras, plus after buying the Mrs a laptop recently, i don't want to go overboard either and pay a premium for something of a similar spec just because of reputation, if that makes sense.
    Anyway, thanks for the feedback!
