    Hey guys
Family member moved into a house with the above fitted and they wanted to add a wireless sensor onto their adjacent shed.

Can't seem to find any option for adding sensor in the standard menu, tried default codes found online, although entering them doesn't do anything.

Using the alarm code they were given gives an option to enter manager mode, but again no option to pair a wireless sensor.

Is there any other way to pair a wireless sensor without the engineer code or does it need to defaulted to reset the engineer code?

Also can the Gsm addon be purchased and used standalone with the alarm, e.g prepay SIM topped up every few months to stay active and just texts if there's an activation/used to arm or disarm the alarm or do they need to buy the unit and sign up to the hkc subscription and app to do the above? Thanks

You would need the engineer code to add a wire free device to the system.
If you try a default, down power, mains and battery with factory link removed and it works you could just reset the codes as opposed to having to do a full default to get engineer access.

Yes, you can get a GSM-Q which uses a sim card for the system.

Thanks altor I'll get him to try that, does it give an option to separately wipe codes as opposed to everything if it's not locked?

Yes you need to scroll to default codes on the keypad.
If it is locked you will need an engineer to do it for you.

Is the panel engineer locked?if it is you will have to get an engineer to take out the pcb and he will leave it into hkc to unlock it with a cost to the house holder.

This can be done on site without the need to send it to HKC.
