Does anyone know how to disable a sensor on an old Concord PW alarm that's no longer monitored?

I'm having my front door replaced next week and I need to remove the wireless sensor attached to the old door, then reattach it to the new door.

    Any help or suggestions appreciated.

When you open the sensor it will activate a tamper on the system.
Putting in your user code will silence the alarm.

When your putting it back on make sure the magnet lines up with the reed in the sensor before fitting.

Thanks for your reply (as always) altor.

So it's just as simple as, remove the sensor which will trigger the alarm, then fit it again on the new door with magnet aligned?

    Yes correct.
When you tamper the sensor the alarm will sound but putting in your user code will silence the system.
