It has been happening since last November. I just had my application/renewal cancelled because they were waiting for documentation and said i was notified via their website mail.

    What a load of cobblers

*Moved from Dublin County North, it's better suited to here so you're more likely to get helpful replies.

By far the easiest quickest thing to do is to fill in the paper form and send it off.
This applies as well to anyone who gets a letter telling them to renew their card through mymedical card.ie. Don’t even bother. Just fill up another form and send it off.

Their email service seems to be shyte as well. Asked them a question about a possible change of circumstances. Got a reply within minutes telling me they come back to me within 2 working days. That was 3 weeks ago...
Paper and snail mail seems to be the way forward.

They registered me with a GP near an address I had left ages before. Seven hours drive and a sea crossing away. NB They sent the card to my new address

It took months to sort it and I had to make a formal complaint etc etc etc
