Hinge damaged on glasses

I have a relatively new pair of glasses that I got this year. I barely wear them, they're usually just sitting on the desk beside the laptop, until I need the laptop. Otherwise, they come with me when I'm driving in the dark. The arms were never fully even, one would also close and one would always stay open, unless I pushed it close. I put the glasses on yesterday and kept them on for a few hours, and noticed it a pretty significant mark on the bridge of my nose, which I hadn't got before. The right arm has bent downwards at the hinge (but the hinge itself doesn't look bent). I've managed to push it back up, but I can't say whether that weakened them or not.

Basically, what I'm wondering is if me pushing it back up has fixed the problem, or should I take them back in again in case that has weakened the frame?

Definitely take them back in. It sounds like they need adjusting at the nose too.

Glasses frames can be difficult to adjust properly without a bit of training... and even with training, they can still snap sometimes! So let someone who knows what they are doing sort it out for you.
