Spanish Hotel Not Honouring Website Price

Hi,

Sorry if this is the wrong forum.

A friend of mine booked a hotel in Spain, all went fine on the website and she booked it for €750 as per the screen shot below


Unfortunately the email came through and it says the cost was €1,750

When she got onto the hotel they said there was a problem with the website and the cost is €1,750


Does she have any recourse or is stuck with the full price?

I would say no recourse.

You should do a search of the BA forum on boards...A thread was started advertising a mega deal for the Kilmainham Hotel for pittance. Bookings were made, obviously. Hotel cancelled all. It was obviously a clerical error; apologies were issued by them and that was it.

~ Look around other sites.
~ Do price-matches and see whether the original or new price/quote is more accurate to you.

Let us know how you get on.

I would say no recourse as an admin change of 1000€ does seem like a genuine admin error tbf.
