looking for a few recommendations on a loader for generally lifting silage bales & a silage grab for pit. i have an old JCB 3cx that is at the end of it's days.
i would like something easier to maneuver than 3cx, not great in tight corners.
    budget is 20,000

20,000k is a good budget. How about a JCB 520-50 telescopic or swivel steer like a 408 or a newer model. I've never driven a 2cx so not sure how nimble they're around a yard. If you really want something for tight corners a JCB Robot skid steer would be a nice option. A 190 model should have enough power to lift even a wet bale even and has telescopic reach. You can buy new wheel loader now for just over 20k like those Schmidt loaders. Not sure if there any good though. I wouldn't be a fan of dishing out silage on a tractor with a loader.

Only have 70hp two wheel drive tractor so not an option for grab.
Thanks I'll look up those options

No bother at all. Hillview Plant Sales up north and Dermot Clancy Plant Sales in Kerry have some nice machines for sale. Best of luck with your search.
