NCT /CAR with changed milage

I had to fit a 2nd hand clock on my car becoz of a dash electrical fault and this has changed the odometer reading <20,000 km. I know NCT record the milage every test .Does this new milage effect the NCT test going forward?

It will not affect the test itself as they just record the mileage that they see on the car's odometer at the time of the test however there will be a discrepancy with the mileage recorded at previous NCTs if a potential buyer of your car did a history check on the car and examined it's NCT certs.
