    My friend found a wallet today n trying to find the owner, she posted to facebook groups, what else could be done?

    Leave it in at Drogheda Garda station(or the closest Garda station convenient for the finder to go to)
    Also try re posting on Facebok tomorrow and if you have a Twitter or Instagram account,try those also.

    If there's any cards in it, contact the body that issued the card. Even if it's only a Tesco clubcard, they can contact the person.

    Failing that, the Gardai.

    What NOT to do:
    Boards.ie, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, ANY PHUCKING SOCIAL MEDIA AT ALL.

    Admittedly, the OP didn't do it in this case, but I keep seeing people stick photos of a person's card up on social media asking "Does anyone know this person?"

    Every single person who does this is an idiot.
