I see 3 plus have a 3c off offer on purchase of fuel however it’s a weekly direct debit...what are people’s experience of this and would they recommend it? Thanks

I’ve got an AXA Card, 4c off per litre, weekly debit also and no monthly charge. The thing is great for when I need it. It’s in conjunction with Topaz so the AA and Fastfit also have identical cards/offers. I just got mine when I was insured with AXA.

So for your card do you set what weekly amount of fuel you’re going to get and it’s taken out of your account every week or is it taken out only when you get fuel?

Lets say you fill up on Monday. On Friday it'll total the week and bill you. The DD won't be taken out for a further week. Handy when waiting for payday.

So I take it you have no problems using it even though you not insured with AXA anymore?

Lots of credit unions offer fuel cards.
Mine gives 4¢/L off, with a DCI card.. and that card will work at almost everywhere except Applegreen
