    For myself.
I've never gotten the hang of make up.
Looking for lessons on how to apply eye make up especially.
    Any recommendations?

A Brown Thomas one on one consultation? I think it's 80e but redeemable against makeup and they'll use all their brands and be able to taylor it to your needs!

    Any particular brand you'd recommend?

As another 'mature' lady, I like Inglot. Their foundation and their BB cream suit me. I think they charge €30 for a full lesson but that's redeemable against purchases. Foundation is about €20

Its done by an independent BTs MUA so they'll use all different brands.

Hi. Did you have any luck with either of them? I was just thinking of this myself, I'm really not great with make-up at all.. I saw that MakeUpForever had an over 40 makeup tutorial at one stage but theres nothing like that mentioned on their website at the moment. Might give them a ring and see if anything is planned.

I have a lesson booked for next weekend with a local beautician.
I didn't go with the make up counters as I felt they're too open.
