Replacing regulator in VW Passat

    Got a quote of €250 incl vat to supply/fit regulator in passenger door of VW Passatt 04 1.9 TDI saloon diesel the job will take one hour, the mechanic knew from the description I gave that it is the regulator gone, like noise like stuff falling inside the door, I can slide the window up and down and have it held up with 2 rubber door stoppers at the minute
    Mick's garage have two options of regulators for €74.99 how do I know which one is the correct option, is it a big job to fit the regulator. thanks for reading
