Hi all , was looking a bit of help. I have a fluid leak from power steering rack on 05 Opel Vectra . Fluid is leaking from nearside boot ..was wondering am I right in thinking that there is a seal inside the boot that is damaged therefore the leak , and if so does anyone know if those seals can be replaced with the rack fitted or does it mean rack has to come out for replacement .....or does it mean rack has to be replaced ? Thanks

I don't think you can get replacement seals etc for any steering rack for many years ; it's a case of replacing the rack with a second hand one ( could fail soon again) or a reconditioned one ( with a warranty).
There is a Lucas product (in a white bottle) which can be added to the power steering fluid and can work quite well if leak is not too severe. I have used it a number of times and found it to be quite good. It works ,apparently, by causing the seals to swell slightly.
Should be available from most motor factors.

Thanks ..I knew you could get stuff to put in with engine oil but didnt know you could get same for power steering fluid. I got " Wynn's Automatic Transmission and Power Steering STOP LEAK " today in Halfords for 8 euro . Will give it a go and report back thanks.........
