    Hi there,

I'll start off by saying I'm an idiot. I'm selling my car and absent mindedly filled in the wrong address in the vehicle registration certificate. Yes really, I know. Do I need to send off for a new one?

Any words of advice would be appreciated!

Was it your own address you filled in or just an incorrect address?

Might be best to contact Shannon and flag it with them. They can advise what form needs to be filled out to correct it.

If you are selling a car then you fill in the new owners name/address on the VLC, so you wrote the incorrect address is for the new owner?

    Ring Shannon and explain.

Yeah exactly, I'd blame it on a long day but I'm just an idiot. Will do that, thanks a million.

    Hi all,

Update just in case anyone makes a silly mistake like me!

Rang Shannon and they said it was grand and to just cross out the incorrect information and write the correct address beside it. No need for a new logbook. So actually not so much of a big deal after all, thank God!

So did I. I have done the same previously and tippexed out the incorrect address and wrote in the correct one and posted it away. No problems.
