I've seen a few reviews on this and it looks great, it's made by a lot of the old bullfrog devs who made Theme Hospital. Project Hospital is another one coming out this year although Two point looks like it's going to be the better of the two.

To my shame I never played Theme Hospital. Though in my defence it wasn't until the mid 2000's that my gaming focus switched mostly to PC. But Two-Point Hospital looks frickin amazing. I've seen some vids of Project Hospital as well, but honestly I prefer the look and feel of Two-Point.

You can pick up Theme Hospital really cheap. Still a fun little game to play! First played it on the PS1 and loved it so I'll definitely buy one of the above.

Wasn't a massive fan of Theme hospital but loved Populous, Syndicate Wars and Theme Park so basically most things Bullfrog but willing to try this since i'm older and wiser and now work in a Hospital past 15 years :pac:

Yeah it's about €4/5 on GOG I think, which I've never bought anything off of before funnily enough. Think I'll hold out for Two Point.

    2 hour livestream (well, 1 h 40-ish):

Totally off topic but..... I'm not the only one crushing on Lauran right? Usually funky coloured hair and nose rings would be off putting for me, but damn she's cute.....

Ok I need this game NOW. Watched a few early vids on youtube and it looks so frickin' fun!!

The hype this game is getting. Not out for over a month and its all over steam. Top of the top sellers list. I don't know why a decent Theme Hospital clone hasn't been made yet.

Never pre order but still play Theme Hospital from time to time and the bit 32 mins in that lists janitorial work as Charlie work is really tempting me ha

Why is it a feast or a famine when it comes to certain game types? Before last year, it seems like forever since there was any sort of airport simulator. Then bam, SimAirport and Airport CEO! The same thing with dinosaur park sim, nothing good since Jurassic Park Operation Genesis which seems like a million years ago, then Mesozoica (which is complete and utter trash btw), Prehistoric Kingdom (not released yet) and Jurassic World Evolution came along! Now it's the same with hospitals, Project Hospital and Two Point Hospital! Please god let zoo sims be next, there hasn't been a proper zoo sim since Zoo Tycoon 2 -> DO NOT TALK TO ME ABOUT THAT TRASH ZOO TYCOON GAME THEY RELEASED ON THE XBOX STORE AND BROUGHT OVER TO PC, IT IS GARBAGE!.. I may be a bit passionate about good zoo sims :o

Ah 5 weeks before Two Point releases! It's like an unscratchable itch!!

Watching some game play it seems to be pretty much the same as Theme Hospital in many ways. Like someone took the base game and simply updated it.

Same developer I think. I've had to stop watching videos of it cos the more I watch, the more I want it! Genuinely starting to become like this now..!

From what I have seen so far (about 2 hours of gameplay) it looks pretty boring and repetitive ... Maybe I'm missing something

The basic gameplay is quite simple - the original game got more difficult as more diseases, patients and staff were introduced.

The challenge was to keep everyone healthy and happy while dealing with emergencies.

Edit: and to organise the flow of patients and staff as efficiently as possible.

Yeah, I loved the original game, so fun to play and the learning curve worked nicely and was ramping up the difficulty before you realised!

Yeah, like when puke is missed by the janitor, so it causes others to puke.

Remember the entrance to my hospital was covered in Puke as people entering the hospital were puking after walking over the exisitng puke. So then people got jammed in the narrow walkway, puking, unable to move.

    glorious.

Why can't I find the demo available for download?
I've seen vids on YT of the demo!
Don't tell me the demo is only for "Influencers", or I'll seriously be put off this whole game :(

Most games nowadays (PC anyway) offer early releases to Youtubers, etc to drum up interest and hype prior to release. Free advertisement. They're not demo versions per se, just pre-release versions of the game.

I know, and not to get this off topic, but I despise the practice.
Let the public consume a demo, not someone who is paid to deliver an opinion :pac:

I knew it was out at the end of August. I knew that. But even when I saw this thread pop up again, I got my hopes up that they randomly announce it was being released two weeks earlier. I knew this couldn't be the case. I still got my hopes up.

    12 days and counting!!!!!

Have seen a vid or two on Project Hospital as well. It's looking good! So much so that I'm definitely buying it as well as Two Point! Graphics are much simpler as it's in the style of a typical isometric game, but they look modern and fresh, I'm quite impressed! It's more serious and realistic than Two Point, but both look impressive.
