Account Closure and refund

    [font=Calibri, sans-serif]I have contacted Irish Water a number of times since late February and this issue still has not been resolved.[/font]

    [font=Calibri, sans-serif]I sold my property, to which a business account is related, in February and requested closure of the account and refund of the outstanding credit.[/font]
    [font=Calibri, sans-serif]After my request a new bill was generated with an estimated meter reading and the bill amount taken from the outstanding credit, this estimated reading was larger than the actual meter count at the time.[/font]
    [font=Calibri, sans-serif]To correct this error I would like a final bill generated with the correct meter reading as of the date of closure in Febuary, which I have provided, and full refund of the credit which was on the account at the time.[/font]

    [font=Calibri, sans-serif]As I've said I have contacted Irish water by phone a number of times and had to go through the same details each time as if it was a new request to be told it will be actioned some time in the future, the customer service operators couldn't tell me if this would be within, days, weeks or months. I have also logged a complaint through Irish Water complaints system/email address but this has not been responded to more than a week later.[/font]
