    Hiya

    I was posting this thread not only looking for responses but also as a reminder to myself that I I'm going to try and work out parkingtag.ie

    I'm doing it on behalf of an elderly person not for myself, so I'm able to be a bit objective about it.

    The trigger has been this person getting a new android phone, and not being able to download the Android app. In fact on my (different) android phone, also pretty new using latest Android version, no app either.

    So one could spend quite a while this way, finding out which model of phone it might work on, but the website seems to not to want to talk about a list of compatible model. In fact seems to avoid these hidden complexities and I found it not helpful and quite time consuming looking around on it.

    So I'll be coming back here again, posting further impressions, I Hope they are not all negative.

    I don't understand why the app wouldn't be compatible with your phone?

    I use it on iPhone but have colleagues that use it on various Android phones without any issues.

    Define "new android phone".

    Most recent version of Android is Oreo released in August 2017, does the phone support this?
