Car finance questions

    Hi guys

Just a quick question on car finance
I applied online for finance on the dealers website last night but missed their call today and when I rang back the guy had gone home! He did leave a message though saying to give him a call back when I could so he could get my bank details off me to proceed. I'm just asking is this a good thing or a bad thing as in he didn't ask for statements but the details themselves does this mean he wants to check my account to make sure it ticks all the boxes to move forward or something else? I'm not sure. Turns out too that the finance company is who I actually have my car insurance with the last two years also so I'm taking that as a good thing as I've never missed a payment with them.

Thanks for any input on advance

The finance company is an insurance company, or is a company the insurance company use?

The finance company also offer insurance along with other things pensions investments etc so they provide car finance to this particular dealer too

Getingg a call back is probably a good sign. Do you know what APR they’re charging you, is it hire purchase?
