Mortgage query - Regular savings

    Hi ,

I previously had a long stretch of uninterrupted regular savings. However recently I took out a relatively small portion from my regular savings account.

Does this reset the 6 month requirement of regular savings required to apply for a mortgage or will my previous year of uninterrupted savings be taken into account? i.e If I took out funds in Feb will I need to save for 6 months from Feb or will my prior year of savings be considered?

My rent payment have also remained the same.

    thanks,

    Mark

    Hi MartyMcFly84,

Thanks for your post here on Boards.

Our mortgage specialist would usually request for you to show between 6 and 12 months continuous savings.

I would advise that you have a quick chat with one of our mortgage advisors to discuss this any further on 1890 365 345.

    Thanks,

    Kareana
